Futurescape: Pioneering Peace Visionaries – Call for Participants!

The journey toward a peaceful and united Europe continues!We are excited to launch the call for participants for the third phase of MIJARC Europe’s 2024 work plan "Harmony Horizon: Empowering Youth for Peaceful Futures," co-financed by the European Youth Foundation.

This time, we invite you to France for an international simulation exercise titled "Futurescape: Pioneering Peace Visionaries."The activity will take place in Paris and Chemillé-en-Anjou, culminating with the presentation of results during Les Grandes Rurales festival, where we expect about 2000 participants. The theme of the festival is "Party at the Village".

About the Activity

In this unique simulation, participants will embark on a transformative journey to envision and strategize for a peaceful future, drawing upon the insights, experiences, and skills developed in the previous phases of the project.

Using elements of gamification and storytelling techniques, participants will immerse themselves in a futuristic scenario where they must collaborate, create strategies, and propose innovative solutions for peacebuilding in Europe.The challenges they will tackle are directly connected to the issues and ideas identified during the second phase of the project, summarized in the Position Paper created in Georgia.

Through this dynamic, creative process, participants will not only explore the complexities of peacebuilding but also strengthen their leadership, teamwork, and advocacy skills.

Outcomes

Creation of a new set of digital peace cards based on participants' unique visions and experiences, to be used in a European social media campaign.
Presentation of outcomes at the Les Grandes Rurales festival in Chemillé-en-Anjou.
Strengthening a youth-led network of changemakers committed to peace and rural youth empowerment.
